The Multi-Link TeleVoIP USB Phone plugs directly into an available USB 1.1 port on your computer, so there's no need to wear headphones, buy a headset or have your conversation running through your loudspeakers. This phone is Skype-certified: Skype is free downloadable software that allows you to make free phone calls to other Skype users and cheap calls to ordinary phones. No external power or sound card is needed, and you won't have the monthly service fees associated with most VoIP services.

How it WorksThere's no need for microphones, speakers, or a mouse with this stylish, interactive handset. The Multi-Link TeleVoIP USB Phone acts as an extension of your PC to make Skype calling easier. Just pick up the handset from the cradle, and Skype pops up instantly on your monitor. Toggle through your Skype TAB windows (contacts, dial, history) to your buddy list and scroll to the right contact to call. When you're through, just hang up, and Skype minimizes instantly. Inbound calls ring the phone and light the LED to make sure your calls get noticed.
Additional Skype ServicesSkype allows for free PC to PC calls, but with SkypeOut, you can call traditional landline numbers using the keypad on the handset, as well. Also available is Skype Voicemail Notification — The TeleVoIP USB Phone flashes its LED for visual notification of a message waiting for you if you sign up for this service. Both of these services are available for a fee from Skype.com.
Additional VoIP Communication Devices AvailableA TeleVoIP phone is also available that connects through your computer's microphone and speaker slots.
