If your home or small business uses a Panasonic Home or Small Business Phone System, you can add security and reduce time spent running to answer the door with the Door Intercom Station. When its call button is pressed, this door intercom will ring the phones in the house with a distinctive ring, so you'll know someone is at your door or gate. Once answered, you'll have a two-way intercom conversation with the visitor. The Door Intercom Station is an accessory to the Panasonic Home or Small Business Phone System, which is required and sold separately from this product.

When used with the Panasonic Home or Small Business Phone System, you will need to add the optional Door Phone/Opener Adapter Card to the system. This board will allow the system to control up to four intercom stations and four door contact closures for remote operation of electric door locks or gate releases. Hook the Door Intercom Station up to the garage door opener, and open the garage door for the delivery driver to leave packages.
Use ordinary phone cable between the intercom station and the phone system. The Door Intercom Station will only require two conductors. For simplicity and future growth potential, use multi-conductor cable (such as cat. 3 or cat. 5) to connect the intercom station.
The Door Intercom Station is also available in black.
