The rack-mountable system's many features include an auto attendant, which answers incoming calls and routes them to the appropriate department or extension. Each extension can record up to three different outbound greetings for general delivery, after-hours use, or for when the call recipient is on another line. You can also program up to 20 custom holiday greetings to play on specific days.
Working from home? You can receive email notification of waiting voicemail messages, including Caller ID, time and date of call, length of message and how many old and new messages are in your mailbox. Your voicemail messages can also be attached to e-mail messages as WAV files; and the sending of e-mails can be scheduled to suit your workday. Voicemail messages can be deleted automatically after e-mailing or retained in the voice processing system. A LAN interface card (sold separately) is required for this feature. You can also have the system call your cell phone to deliver messages, especially handy for the traveling businessman.
Control voicemail using a simple LCD menu (available with some phones and systems) without listening to the voicemail for options. Messages can be selected, played and deleted using the visual prompts on the phone's LCD screen, thus speeding up the message retrieval time. On the receive screen, you'll see caller ID information, along with the time and date of the call and the voicemail message length.
Messages are stored in solid-state flash memory. Additional features include the ability to backup and restore messages, auto-receipt acknowledgement of messages, remote access of mailboxes, and message forwarding and copying.
The 64-Mailbox Voice Processing System has a standard RJ45 network connection. Connect it to your network to make program changes via a PC with the included software installed.
