The Lockey Systems TB400 Hydraulic Gate Closer is an economic and reliable automatic gate closer for use with commercial gates. Unlike normal closing springs, the TB400 does not slam gates shut. They firmly and quietly push gates closed, making them ideal for use with magnetic locks and other latching devices. The closing speed is pre-set to provide a controlled close of 8 seconds or more depending on the weight of the gate and quality of the hinges. With this closer there is no risk of maladjustment or tampering with the speed adjustment after the closer is fitted. No special skills are required to install this gate closer. As with most gate closers, it is advisable to install a mechanical stop to restrict the gate opening angle to avoid damage to the closer.
