The RF Remote Door Knob solves this typical problem easily: Replace your standard doorknob with this remote-control door lock, and you'll be able to unlock the door with the press of a button on a remote that attaches to your key ring. Since it utilizes radio-frequency technology, you won't even need to aim the remote at the lock for it to release the lockset. The RF Remote Door Knob is powered by four AA batteries (sold separately).

For the ultimate in convenience, integrate this lock as part of an INSTEON home control system with the MorningLinc - INSTEON Doorknob/Deadbolt Controller (sold separately).

    You'll receive two remote controls with this solid brass doorknob that can also be opened with the two included keys. No wiring is involved in installation, and this keyless door lock will fit in most doors, since it comes with an adjustable backset (2 3/8" to 2 3/4"). The doorknob is coated with a polished brass finish with a lifetime warranty.

    Your entire family or small business can take advantage of the easy security of the RF Remote Door Knob, which accepts up to 15 different remote controls. Two remotes are included; additional remotes can be purchased separately. An auto-lock function sets the lock to re-lock automatically 10 seconds after every unlock entry, and the lock comes complete with anti-scan code-hopping technology. Additional features include distinct audible tones for locking, unlocking, jams, and low battery.

    The RF Remote Door Knob, Brass is also available in satin nickel. A remote-control deadbolt is also available in brass and satin nickel.

    We really like our RF Remote Controlled Keyless Entry system. Since we live in a townhouse, we have a lot of stairs going up and down to the bottom floor where our front door is. It makes it very easy to let someone in (who we know of course!)by just clicking on the remote. Since we're too lazy to go up and down the stairs to open the door manually... this is great for us! HA! Installation was very easy to do. It didn't take us long at all. It's very easy to set up and use and the overall value can't be beat. Thanks again SmartHome!!

    well made, very high quality ,brass finish on knobs looks like it will last a lifetime, had to install control unit upside down because there was not enough room between the pre-drilled lockset and deadbolt holes in my door but it works perfectly in this orientation.

    The product seems to be worth purchase in view to utility and simple design and in case of failure, can be operated by normal keys.Alarms for low battery and lock/unlock indicates safety for all ages.THE PRODUCT 51891 is available only in US or can be sent to other country is not known from the contents.If the item no.51891 is to gifted to parents in India what should be the formalities,one should do? Payment shall be made in US either credit card/or cash whichever Manufacturer accepts.Kindly intimate by mail.I hope i may require to send at least 3-4 such locks to India for relatives.

    I purchased this product at least two years ago for my garage door entrance - the one I use to enter my home. I mention this because the lock is subjected to the summer heat of western South Dakota as well as the cold winters. The lock has functioned perfectly since installation, and I can't begin to express my feelings of satisfaction enough when I get out of the car, walk to the door, active the remote to unlock the door so I can quickly get out of the cold and/or nasty winter weather. The warranty on the product is excellent, but I must admit I have never had to have it repaired. If you are looking for a gift for someone or even yourself I highly recommend you look at Smarthome's products.
