Functionality is good and programming easy. If you choose the auto relock function, it is a little finnicky and often doesn't work unless you lift the outer handle back to its stationary position (handle spring doesn't seem strong enough to automatically return handle to horizontal position).

Great lock - I now have 8 of them at my house. It was easy to order from Smarthome - the order was delivered within the timeframe requested - no problems.

It wouldn't take the first number programmed into it, although we tried many times. It took the next four numbers without a problem and is working just fine. Your service is exceptional and really appreciated.

As noted in other reviews, the instructions are somewhat lacking. You should probably have some experience, intuition, and/or patience. The unit is quite solid and did install without too much trouble. If adjusted to the 2-3/4 setback, only one mounting post will engage through the latch mechanism. This is normal, although it should be mentioned. My only real complaint is the stamped battery cover is held on by a single tiny screw. It is at the extreme top so the bottom edge of the cover is not retained and tends to ''''stick out'''' slightly. This is really kind of cheesy. I''''m working on using 2 more screws at the bottom.

Installation and setup were easy. Works well, we can put several codes in. Can set it to automatically lock the door so it stays locked after someone unlocks and comes in. Sometimes, the lock doesn't turn all the way or is a little off (it bounces back), so it's something I have to keep an eye on to make sure it IS locked.

Excellent product, simple install. Has no given us any trouble.
