This high-security, infrared remote control system is similar to the keyless entry systems on luxury cars, yet can be installed easily by even the most novice do-it-yourselfers. You won't even have to drill any holes or wire any power cords! Requires 4 AA batteries (sold separately). Also available in a Satin Nickel finish.

This lockset is incredibly secure. It's built with a 6-pin cylinder and a free-spinning cylinder guard to prevent tampering. A protective inner shroud also resists prying or wrenching. Unit is constructed with lifetime tarnish-free housing and also available in a Left-Handed Lever (#5181BL).

All models have adjustable backsets (switchable between 2 3/8" and 2 3/4").
Expandable With Up to 30 Users
Although the lockset comes with two remote controls, they'll recognize up to 30 different remote control codes in case you want to duplicate one for multiple users (great for families). Programming is a simple push-button process, and takes only minutes. Remotes are available in blue and white. Each remote comes with a 3-Volt lithium battery.
Long Battery Life
The remote lockset requires four AA batteries (sold separately), which provide enough power for 18,000 successful activations per set of batteries. The system includes two conventional keys for standard operation and comes with a lifetime mechanical and finish manufacturer's warranty as well as a one-year electrical manufacturer's warranty.
NOTE: Remote control can only be used on the outside of lockset. No remote indoor operation.
