I have had this deadbolt on my house for 5 years. In that time 3 remote controls have quit working, the 2 that came with the lock, 1 that I purchased and now I had to purchase another one, 2 months after the warranty on the last one expired. For a remote that costs $25 (with shipping), it should last a lot longer. I've had my car for 7 years and I am still using the original remote control and original battery!

Stopped working a week after I received it. Smarthome was out of stock. I called the manufacturer and the product was replaced.

Ordered key remote. I wrote customer service. They sent replacement for faulty remote. Thank you
