Are you still using a key to get into your house? There's no need to fumble for your keys in the dark any more. The Fingerprint ID Door Lock W/Audit Trail is a cylindrical lock combined with a security deadbolt that will let you into the house using just your finger. It reads your unique fingerprint and only allows entry to prints it recognizes. With three user levels, you'll be able to determine which users have the authority to operate specific functions. Six AA batteries are required to use this door lock and are sold separately.

The Fingerprint ID Door Lock W/Audit Trail will accept up to 50 fingerprints in its system, providing keyless access to your entire family or your small business. This lockset is designed to fit any standard wooden door that has installation holes for a mechanical cylindrical door lock. Programming is easy, and the LED display provides added convenience for programming and user management. Four keys are included for emergency entry should the occasion arise.
After correctly matching your fingerprint to the one programmed into its memory, the lock body is unlocked, and the system will power off automatically to save electrical power. If the batteries become low, you will hear four alert beeps when the lock is used. Replace the batteries as soon as possible; the Fingerprint ID Door Lock W/Audit Trail's non-volatile memory will retain all enrolled fingerprints and other setup functions.
Monitor the people going into your home or office using the Fingerprint ID Door Lock's audit trail. Install the included software on your PC to run the Lock Audit program. Use the included data cable to connect the lock unit to your computer's RS-232 serial port, and the software will keep track of all uses of the Fingerprint Lock, noting the time and date of each entry. The records can be maintained on your computer.
Note: If an emergency key is used to unlock the lock, there will be no audit report transaction, as the key cylinder is not tied into the electronics of the tracking system.
This fingerprint lock is made for left-hand doors. If you have a right-hand door, buy the right-hand version instead. To determine if you need a left-hand or right-hand lock, stand facing on the exterior side of your door. If the hinges are on the left, it is a left-hand door requiring a left-hand lock. If the hinges are on the right, it is a right-hand door requiring a right-hand lock.

The Fingerprint ID Door Lock W/Audit Trail is also available with a keypad (available for both left- and right-handed doors. This unit adds the option of gaining entry using a PIN, ideal for letting service people or temporary guests into your home without logging their fingerprints into your system.
