With an extra-large, 3-line display screen, the display makes caller information easy to read at a distance. Now you won't have to get out of the hot tub, step off the treadmill, or interrupt any other activity for an unwanted phone call again! The main source of power is from an included AC adapter, but the unit also requires 3 AA batteries (sold separately) as a backup in the event of a power outage.

    • More Info

    The Jumbo Caller ID Display shows the number of new calls/total calls directly on screen, and stores time- and date-stamped names and/or numbers for the last 50 calls, including repeat and flashing "new call" indicators. For calls that you get when you're not home, a large LED indicates that new calls have been received, so you can see at a glance if you need to scroll through the history or not.

    Intuitive Buttons
    Dual review up/down buttons provide easy reviewing of call log records. A delete button allows you to erase stored calls selectively, or collectively. A contrast button toggles between two settings for maximum visibility.

    Universal Message Waiting Indication
  • Visual Message Waiting Indication: Receives FSK data without wake up signal.
  • Message Waiting Indication: Flashing LED and LCD icon indicate message(s) waiting in your local telephone company's voice mailbox

    Dialing
  • Use the DIAL/FLASH button to switch between calls in call waiting state
  • Use the DIAL/FLASH button for the call back feature
  • Preset up to 4 area codes, one for 7 digit dialing and three for 10 digit dialing

    Other Features
    Other features of the Jumbo Caller ID Display include a backlit display for easy viewing in dim light, detachable pedestal for wall or three-position desk mounting and three-language operation (English, Spanish or French). Measures 5" wide x 4.25" long. Requires 3 AA batteries (sold separately). Note: This unit does not offer the Call Waiting ID feature. Requires a subscription to Caller ID service from your telephone service provider.

    I was looking to replace an old Caller-ID Unit that was most useful as it indicated received calls, even when a message was not left. The only problem with this unit is that it prevents incoming calls from being displayed on the phone caller ID when on an other call. The solution was easy - a line splitter so the unit and phone receive the call in parallel. Now I have the best of both worlds.

    Great product! The large screen makes it easy to see from a distance and the forward/back for data is straightforward and the delete function is just a push of the button. Can be used table-top one it's tilted base or wall mounted. I recommend this product.

    1- The little envelope icon is so small and dark that it's almost of no use, and a message indicator was the main reason I purchased this product. 2- It can't be very attractively mounted on the wall. There is no where for the excess cord to be stored so it just sits there in an unattractive bunch. 3- When it's properly in it's wall mount bracket, it's loose, so I have to be very careful when scrolling, not to knock it off the wall. Overall, it seems to be keeping track of my messages, but the physical design leaves much to be desired. Also, I would like the numbers to be large enough and lit up enough to read clearly from several feet. I'm keeping it at this point, but only because I can't find a better one. Thank you for allowing me to give you this review. That tells me you really do care what the customer thinks. Becky Farmer
