Essential Info
Are you relying on Caller ID and the Do Not Call list to avoid unwanted callers? These services are certainly convenient in this busy age, but they are also limited. If an unwanted caller phones in the middle of the night, you shouldn't even have to hear the phone ring! The Caller ID with Ring Controller makes it so you won't ever have to again. This easy-to-use device lets you determine which calls always get through, which calls can only come in during certain hours of the day, and which calls can go straight to your answering machine.
Note: This product does not work in the Toronto, Canada area.
Version II upgrades include:
- Works with traditional phone service and also with Voice over IP (VoIP) systems like Vonage, and Skype - Reject numbers database increased from 20 to 70 numbers - Last 7 or 8 digits can be wildcards; allows addition of an entire area code to any list as opposed to only the last 4 numbers - Both phone numbers and names or nicknames can be manually entered. The incoming name from the phone company still displays if no name is manually entered. Allows users to add nicknames or identifiers, e.g. "Grandma" as opposed to only numbers being able to be entered. - Universal display shows any phone number from 5 to 14 digits to work with international or VoIP numbers as opposed to only showing numbers with 10 digits. - When incoming calls number reach 100 numbers in memory, the device will now be able to still block calls as opposed to not blocking calls when the memory limit is reached.
