We installed the lock, it worked quite well. After an initial battery change (maybe our first set was dead) we've gone several months with extreamly frequent use, on a single set of batteries. Maybe ours were dead, who knows... The keys it comes with are the high security type with the side drilled holes, so the lock is actually quite secure, and quite easy to install. Also the handle will move on the outside, but not engage to open the door unless the correct code is typed in. This prevents someone from trying to force the handle down against the locking mechanism. Our only real complaint is the lock plays a little musical tone when it's opened. The instructions don't explain how to turn this off. Kind of annoying. Aside from that, it's seems quite reliable and works well.
