Essential Info
Having fresh air in your home is essential to the health of you and your family. The Broan SmartSense 110 CFM Fan creates proper ventilation, moving 110 cubic feet of air per minute (CFM), replacing stale air, minimizing mold and mildew growth and removing gases and particles not trapped by filtration units. Additionally it will reduce indoor pollutants such as household cleaners, VOCs, carbon monoxide, and off-gassing formaldehyde from building materials, carpets and other furnishings, making it ideal for both home and commercial applications. While a single fan can handle larger homes, it is recommended to use multiple units for homes with multiple bathrooms to provide distributed ventilation throughout. The included Smartsense controller switch looks and installs just like any normal switch and gives you manual on/off control of your fan. It has been designed and factory set to accommodate up to ten additional fan kits for homes with multiple installations necessary. A phase coupler is required, sold separately, for homes with multiple fans installed on different electrical phases to allow for commuunication between each of the fans. The fan will automatically turn on throughout the day based on your home's square footage and number of bedrooms and optimizes energy usage by monitoring fan on-time to provide maximum indoor air quality 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This fan operates at a nearly inaudible level and utilizes the existing exhaust ventilation in your home, so it will be a seamless transition to your new equipment. Control switch installation requires a neutral wire and should use boxes that have 18 cubic inches minimum volume and are at least 1 1/2 inches deep.This product is also available in a slightly less powerful 80 CFM Fan Kit, sold separately.

Fan Feature Selections
Vacation Mode: Used only with Master control. Temporarily disables Broan SmartSense system. Master control will not automatically turn on its fan or any other system fan. After Program mode exit, Vacation mode is cancelled when Master control ON paddle is pressed.
Disabled Mode: When Master control is put in Disabled mode, it will not turn on any fans for automatic ventilation and recommended indoor air quality ventilation level is not assured. Manual control fan operation is not affected.
