Are you looking for a reliable intercom for you home, the Channel Vision Cat.5 Whole House Intercom System allows for convenient installation and reliable communication at an affordable price. The centerpiece of the system is the Intercom Hub that can easily be mounted in most structured wiring enclosures and connects to all room and door units with a simple Cat.5 connection. Four intercom stations are included which can communicate with up to six other stations via room-to-room or broadcast with each other or with front door intercoms; you can even grant access to visitors with the addition of a door strike module. The number of rooms you can directly communicate with is expandable from six to 24 rooms by adding more Intercom Stations and connecting Station Expanders to each station, products sold separately. Additionally, this Whole House Intercom System has two distinct door chimes, baby monitor and Do Not Disturb modes, and includes an IR Remote Control for hands free operation. This intercom kit is the perfect starting point and is expandable and adaptable to virtually any size home.

System Expansion
This package comes with a single hub and 4 room stations. The hub is expandable to accommodate six room stations. If you wish to expand your system to include more than six rooms, up to four intercom hubs and 20 room stations can be linked together to create a 24 room system; extra hubs and rooms stations sold separately.
Door Intercom Compatibility
The Channel Vision Cat.5 Whole House Intercom System will only work with a specific line of Channel Vision door intercoms. These intercoms can be identified with a "C" at the end of the manufacturer product number; currently not available through Smarthome.
