The Channel Vision Cat. 5 Intercom Station is an excellent add on piece that integrates with the Channel Vision Cat. 5 Whole-House Intercom System. Each intercom station is a master unit providing direct room-to-room communication, as well as broadcast communication to other intercom stations or front door intercoms. Using Cat. 5 wiring technology, the intercom allows for convenient installation and reliable communication at an affordable price. One intercom station allows you to communicate via a whole house broadcast or directly to six rooms and two door stations; you can even grant access to visitors with the addition of a door strike module. The direct contact number is expandable up to 24 rooms by using Channel Vision Intercom Six Station Expanders, making it adaptable to virtually any size home.

Intercom Hub
Whether you are using an existing or new Channel Vision Cat. 5 Whole-House Intercom System or building a system from scratch, the centerpiece either way will be an Intercom Hub. The Whole-House system comes with a hub; if you are building a system from scratch, the intercom hub will need to be purchased separately. The hub is designed for quick installation and can be expanded with additional hubs.
Additional Features
You Can use an IR Remote Control, included with a Channel Vision Cat. 5 Whole-House Intercom System, to operate the intercom from anywhere in the room. You can Set different levels of privacy for each room including: Broadcast Page, Privacy, Do Not Disturb, and Room Monitor modes, the answering options include: Hands-Free Reply, Push-to-Talk mode for noisy environments, and Call Return when in Privacy mode or for answering a door station.
Intercom Station Expander
Expander design allows you to easily add direct call buttons to an existing Intercom Station by simply snapping the expander onto the station without requiring additional wall holes. Once the Intercom Station is installed in a double-gang ring, the Station Expanders can be attached and rest on the surface of the wall so additional holes need not be cut to expand the system. Each Intercom Hub can support up to six room stations and is expanded through the included link cable.
