Increase the number of rings for the Doorbell Fon intercom system

Essential Info

Increases the number of rings the DoorBell Fon will provide from three to eight. Normally, after someone presses the button on the outdoor intercom station, the phone will ring and there will be approximately 20 seconds available for you to pick up the telephone and be automatically connected to the doorbox. By installing this chip, you'll have a total of 8 rings or about one minute. Ideal for those who don't sprint for the phone.

Works Great. Easy to install but read the instructions first. I did have to bend the pins, as recommended by the instructions. I have my system connected to a PBX system and it gives me more time to get to the phone.

Great in that it lets my answering machine answer the door in the regular 4 rings. However, there were no instructions for the uninitiated, either in how to take the door fone apart to install it or where it goes. I did not have any problem but think that this could be a potential problem for others.
