I've been searching for a doorbell for eight years! Wireless never worked and others didn't fit building requirements. This one works perfectly and looks sharp too.

Order received. The only problem is beng harassed with Surveys. Had there been a problem, I most assuredly would have initiated a statement of dissatisfaction.

Excellent product the only thing was the mounting box that is hard to find and not included on the package!!

A lot of FEEDBACK on the speaker/mic, even with the volume potted all the way down.

What they do not make clear is....this does not come with the 2-gang masonry box that must be mounted in order to attach the brass plate. I could not find the proper box and it does not exist at Home Depot. The boxes that MIGHT work to mount the plate are very industrial looking and unattractive and would not look appropriate by your front door. You would only want this if you can cut a square into the wall to place the box into, and then mount the plate onto it so it looks flush to the wall if you can even find the box that this will mount to!. I am sending it back. The other plastic versions of this product do not come with the surface mount bracket either. Good luck.

I purchased the system as part of a renovation of my home and courtyard 17 months ago. I also purchased the door release as part of the system. I also hired a licensed electrician to install the system. The system worked flawlessly for the first 14 months before it began to malfunction. It now fails to ring the inside phone and you only hear the dialtone from the exterior box. My only option at this point is to replace the entire system since it was custom made for the gate post. I don't know if exposure to the elements would affect its reliability. Just be aware..

I love this thing! At first it sounds kind of intimidating, but it's actually easy to install. The sound quality is amazing. And the brass faceplate with the touch sensitive button is high-quality! It really does offer a more secure option than just opening up the door. :)
