The Reporter Outdoor Intercom Units are weather-resistant wireless intercoms that are safe for outdoor use, so you can place one at your front door, one at your back door, or anywhere else on your property within 1000 feet of any other Reporter wireless intercom. The Reporter Outdoor Intercom runs continuously for up to two years on four AA batteries, sold separately.

The Reporter Outdoor Intercom Units can communicate with any Reporter wireless intercom within range. Start with this outdoor set, the Reporter Wireless Intercom Set or Reporter Flushmount Intercom Set and expand with an unlimited number of portable and flushmount wireless intercoms. Since there is no limit to the number of intercoms that can be used, you can include one in each room of your home.
These outdoor wireless intercoms are easy to use. Just hold down the "talk" button, and every intercom unit in the network will receive the signal. When somebody responds by holding down his own "talk" button, a secure channel is created; no other unit will receive the signal, and no one else will be able to hear your conversation.
The Reporter's advanced system features four channel selections. Broadcast to all channels simultaneously or speak to one party through the automatically secured link. Multiple private conversations can occur simultaneously without interfering with one another. The system can always be left on. Additional features include adjustable volume and hands-free answering.
Reporter tabletop and flushmount wireless intercoms are also available and sold separately.
