Was replacing same type of product and new one seems to work just as aniticipated.

After plugging our 2 intercoms in all we could get is static. Tried in different locations with the same results.

Worked pretty good. Had a set many years ago in a previous home and tey worked well. When I installed this set there was looud buzzing. I moved to a different receptacle on a different circuit in the kitchen they worked well.

This is my first review of any smarthome purchase. First off, I have ordered close to $10k of automation gear from this seller. So far the website and delivery have been top-notch. The reviews listed for any product have for the most part are accurate representation of what a potential end-user might expect to get from the product offered. Delivery has been on time and relatively swift. I have no experience with their customer service since I have not had a chance to try them out. As to the product at issue, these intercoms are sitting somewhere in my home unused due to their poor performance. I live in a 3200+sq ft home. These were purchased to monitor my youngest litter that sleeps in a room located at the opp end of my house. From the beginning, I noticed a noise that injected itself into the line. Note that these intercoms communicate over the electrical wiring. The noise became even worse after I started adding Insteon devices to my home. I would not recommend this product if you intend to use it as "monitor" while you try to sleep. I am sure for other less sensitive applications they might work. However, if you have any insteon devices running in your wiring you may not get any mileage out of these due to the excessive noise.
