Works Great

Fabulous, works great, have 1 in house, i in basement, 1 in barn and i next door at my daughters house. Saves a lot of hollaring and walking.

original shipment item was non-functional. Smart Home promptly took unit back and replaced. The replacement works perfectly......good Service

Both the original order for 4 stations did not work properly (had sticking lock keys), but the replacement shipment of 4 stations will not transmit from one side of our house to the other and from the main floor to the basement rooms. Smarthome indicated the most likely problem is different electric circuits in our home. I ask why transmitters depended on house wiring when they were advertised as "wireless". I was told they are not wireless in the sense that they transmit signals through the air, they depend on your house wiring. If you have more than one electric circut in your home they will not work. If I only had one circuit in my home, I would probably not be large enough to require intercoms in the first place.

Easy to install. Just plug it in! In the house it works well. If you want to use this intercom between two adjacent rooms in the house, I would give this product 4 stars! However for my application, I wanted to talk between my kitchen and a detached garage. The "call" feature works great, but for voice, there is lots of interference and you can barely hear and understand the conversation. I didn't return the intercom because for a quick conversation, like "Dinner is ready" it works, but "crystal clear" like the box says, forget about it.

I can't seem to get the 4 units to work together, but I haven't really tried to date. The 2 most important work OK.

Hmm...modestly satisfactory. Easily gets static from computers, other appliances. "Range" of bigger house might be an issue? Would work on one wall in far bedroom, not other wall's plugs. One gets what one pays for it, often in life--true in this situation.

After experimenting with different outlets and volume level, works fine and is a great convenience in our multi-story house.

The product worked as advertised. We use it as a security measure in our church office so no one can just walk in without being announced.
