Essential Info
The TV CoverUp is a novel, simple and elegant way to conceal a flat screen television. With a TV CoverUp, a television screen is no longer a stark center of attention, detracting from a room's decor. Instead, framed art provides the focal point - until it deftly swings upward to reveal the television hidden beneath. The Automated RF Remote Control unit opens and closes by a radio frequency remote control, which activates two 12VDC actuators. Two micro limit switches are provided to cut the power to the actuators unless the TV is in a fully retracted position, when using automatic tilting or articulating TV mounts. Motor casings will protrude through the installation box 2'' x 25'' vertically on the left and right top corners and protrude 2 3/4'' into the fireplace cavity or into the dry wall when choosing the on wall application. Max TV Measurements: 52" x 34" The RF Remote Controlled, 2.5" Depth Box is also built to accommodate various sized TV's: Up to 37 Inches Up to 42 Inches Up to 50 Inches Up to 65 Inches

The TVCoverUp mechanisms are installed within the provided installation box and are lifting two ¾" channel aluminum bars that are 2 ½" wide and are hinged to the mechanism. The arms are retrofitted into the panel being sent. The panel is light weight (1lb/sqft), consisting of five layers including ¼" pressboard face, 3mm Dibond (dual sided aluminum sheet with a rubber core), ½" wood frame, with ¼" gator board covered with Black linen for the backing. This system removes any stress from an otherwise fragile picture frame or box canvas. It is best to keep the total weight, including the panel, within the 45 pound range.
The installation box consists of a back and four sides, some minor assembly required.
