Essential Info

Using Quickport wall plates for your telephone, audio/video (AV) and other cable connections are a great way to manage your wiring and add a professional finish to your installation. The HDMI Snap-in Connector can be used with almost any Keystone / QuickPort style wall plates allowing for installation flexibility with your home theater. The connector simply snaps into place and features a female input on either end that will couple two HDMI cables while maintaining full high definition (HD) resolution up to 1080p. Use it in conjunction with other snap-in connectors to create any configuration of wall plate you need.

Snap-in connectors are designed to work with Keystone, QuickPort, and Modular style wall plates. These wall plates typically have from one to six input ports for snap-in connectors. Installing a snap-in wall plate allows you to make wiring connections and runs inside your wall. You can use various snap-in connectors to customize your snap-in wall plate with telephones, networking, AVcomponents, speakers, and other cable connections. Having a central connection point on the wall is a great way to add a professional finish to your installation and is a simple way to manage your in-wall wiring setup.

    must be inserted in a way where the connector is vertical. it's not really an issue but i did have to make sure that i also picked up the correct 'right angle' adapter for relieving stress on the cable/connection.

    Very difficult to make a nice connection with this - the hdmi cable needs to be plugged straight into this and if the cable has a filter on the end they aren't very flexible. probably fine if you are using a cheap cable but who buried a cheap cable in a wall?

    Product great. Customer service and time of delivery poor. After placing order, order was placed on back-ordered status for over 6 weeks. Then I received only part of the order with half the order remaining on back-order for an additional 10 weeks.     Works well with my Leviton QuickPort wall plates. No signal quality problems. When installing, be sure to use enough force to completely seat the inner cable connectors.

    Don't order these - they are not actually quickport compatible and do not even come close to fitting in quickport frames. I called Smarthome support and they had no idea what type of wallplates they would fit into.
