You'll never forget to turn off the lights if they're connected to an easy-to-use wall-mounted timer. The Intermatic Spring Wound Wall Switch Timer shuts the lights off for you when the time runs out. Simply turn the dial and set it for any amount of time up to 60 minutes. This spring wound timer is designed to replace any standard wall switch, single or multi-gang, and can also be used to automatically fans, air conditioners and other loads up to 20 Amps at 125VAC. This model includes a "hold feature" which allows the user to override the automatic shut-off function for extended use of the load as required. Most commercial, municipal, educational and industrial facilities require models without the hold feature to ensure continued energy savings. This traditional style twist-to-set timer fits in a contemporary Decora-style wall plate (sold separately).

The Spring-Wound Wall-Switch Timer has a completely mechanical design that breaks the circuit completely at the end of the timing cycle you specify. Connect it to a light, a ceiling fan, or any other appliance in its power range (see specifications).
