Essential Info
With numerous electrical devices in today's homes, noise on the electrical line becomes almost unavoidable. But this interference doesn't need to interrupt the X10 signals sent to your devices. Placing a filter between your X10 device and the noisy load blocks the noise and lets X10 signals flow. Now you can protect an entire circuit in your home: The ACT 20-Amp Low-Pass Filter is a 20-amp, hard-wired filter made to block noise from an entire circuit.

The ACT 20-Amp Low-Pass Filter wires directly into your circuit-breaker box, so if you have one load on a particular circuit that generates interference, installing this filter can eliminate up to 97.5 percent of this problem noise with its 40-to-1 blocking ratio. In other words, if the noise or signal is at a level of 1 volt peak-to-peak, only about 25mv should leak through.
This hard-wired noise filter is rated for 20 amps on a maximum of 277 volts.
