Difficult to tell if a filter is working properly, but at least it hasn't melted like the X10 10A filter.

I was hoping this device would reduce the electrical noise generated by my treadmill. It did not make any difference at all. I cannot listen to any radio in my house while my treadmill is in use. Even battery operated radios receive the electrical noise which makes it impossible to listen.

Our X10 lighting system had degraded, and we figured out (by unplugging combinations of things from the wall) that the X10 system worked perfectly when we unplugged 2 computer UPS's and 2 TVs. I bought 4 of these filters hoping they would solve the problem. The X10 system works slightly better now with the filters in place, but they didn't solve the problem.

ordered 4 and everyone works perfect.stopped noise problems.

Does exactly what it's supposed to. I'm using it on a landscape lighting "transformer" based on a switch-mode power supply which was creating a lot of noise on that particular electrical branch. Works like a charm -- very pleased.

If u have X10, this is a must have! My X10 devices would stop communicating in the evening - I read a Smarthome review about this device and Flat Screen TV's and decided to try them out. They work like magic!

Home has 220/110 single phase system. ONe on each phasse. Problem with lights turning on by themselves not solved. Service and delivery of product, excellent. Don

Reduced the noise from my UPS' to a point they no longer interfer with my X10 signals

Works GREAT. Had to plug both my computer UPS and my home entertainment system into these since they were interfering with my TED5000 power monitor. (X10)

Big and bulky, but it completely eliminated noise from my entertainment system. X10 commands from and to this room now work flawlessly. Would like it better if it wasn't as big.
