The Panamax Single Outlet Dual-Gang In-Wall Surge Protector is an in-wall power management solution that is ideal for components such as a flat panel display or subwoofer in which fundamental surge protection is mandatory. It offers a single power outlet with surge protection up to 1350 Joules. There is also a bay next to the outlet that will accommodate a wide variety of common low voltage signal line installation solutions including signal line pass-through inserts, Decora-style adapters, Keystone adapters, and Panamax/Furman signal line modules. This wall plate features an ultra-thin profile that will allow equipment to hang less than one inch from the wall.

The installation solutions using Decora adapters are capable of housing a variety of audio/video connections or accessory ports. This product features adjustable depth pass-through inserts for either a 2-port Keystone adapter or the classic rubber grommet dressing.
Energy Absorption/Dissipation
This rating, given in joules, tells you how much energy the surge protector can absorb before it fails. A higher number indicates greater protection. Look for a protector that is at least rated at 200 to 400 joules. For better protection, look for a rating of 600 joules or more.
