Essential Info

The In-Line Noise Reducer connects between the line and neutral wires so there is no limitation on the size of the load. Filters out electrical noise above and below the 121khz X10 signal but allows the X10 signal to pass through.

    The noise reducer did the trick. I have a basement light circuit with 12 compact florecent lights. These light make a lot of noise and were blocking the x-10 signal to the switch. The 4840 took 5 mins. to install and completely cured the problem
