The Xspot system is designed to help you quickly and accurately find wires behind drywall. You’ll save time by locating the wires in less than two minutes and save money by eliminating the chances for costly mistakes when cutting through drywall. Xspot and Xspot-minis include strong magnets and enable you to place the wires exactly where you think you’ll need them later. Mounting devices, such as the Xstrap and Xbox ensure your wires stay put until you are ready to access them. To find your wires from the other side of the drywall, use the Xtreme locator tool. Its reverse polarity detects metal on one side, making it useful for finding studs as well. Flip the Xtreme over and it should push away when it detects another magnet so you can be sure you have found an Xspot and not just another metal object. The Xcentric tool allows you to mark an "X" on your wall, so you’ll know exactly where you need to drill the appropriate sized hole. Xbooty bags are also included and can be slipped over the locator tools to prevent scratches on your painted and finished walls.
