This device is way too large to fit in a standard elec. box. There is no way it will fit along with other devices. Probably should be a warning in your product description.

This thing works really well, but it is *huge*, and quite difficult to install because of its size, and because the lead wires are far too short, given its size.

I have used these to block noise from electronic ballasts which were interfering with the X-10 signals. It is inexpensive and does what it's supposed to do, but installation locations are limited to where you can fit a proper box (It is too large to fit in a typical light fixture). I have used both a metal three-gang switch box with custom-made blank plate, and a 60A A/C disconnect box with the guts removed.

Installed two on a 240V fluorescent light circuit. X10 wouldn't work on any other circuit while the lights were on before installation, works well after. The boxes are very large though, so finding somewhere to put them is tricky.

Purchased one and installed on UPS - Smarthome review suggested UPS is a source of X10 interference. Don't know if effective in eleminating interference, however, between this device and AF120's on Flat Screen Tv'S - x10 WORKS PERFECT!

I installed this on a new dishwasher that has a dc synchronous permanent magnet motor and other high tech stuff. It helped some. A ccouple of light switches started working more reliably after I installed it. I have another one on the air handler of the air conditioner. The diswasher used to make a compact fluorecent lamp in the living room buzz during certain parts of its cycle.

Very happy with your prompt and correct recomendation.Unit s easy to install directly into my furnace and has performed the expected "miracle" of no more disco lights! Furthermore, your x-10 competition did not even respond to multiple e-mails, so good on you folks. I am now assessing my needs to consider revamping my home controls to the Insteon platform but I'll need to read more and develop a budget/game plan. Thanx again, Dave K.

Worked! Arrived in a few days and working for my 240V USA pool motor. I have two 240 motors: one for filter and one for in-floor cleaner and luckily only needed to filter one of them. Note: be sure to look at the schematic, you need 2 of these for a 240V circuit. I bought two thinking I could use one for each motor, but had to put both on one. I will purchase two more to isolate the other motor just to be safe.

Didn't realize this thing was so big, but that aside it did fix my problem of many CFL fixtures one one circuit Outdoor Floodlights causing the insteon switch to not turn off, only on.

Since these filters are hard-wired, it would be nice if the case would fit into a standard 1900 electrical (4x4) box. I removed the filters from the plastic case and installed them in a 4x4 electrical box. As far as filtering, they work great. The reliability of my X-10 system has been greatly enhanced since installing these on my fluorescent lighting circuits.

It works! The main item missing from the Details & Specifications is the dimensions. Here are the dimensions for the next buyer: 4-5/8"H X 3-1/8"W X 1-5/8 D (dim are +/- 1/8"). This filter got rid of the electrical noise from the blower motor of a high-efficiency Trane furnace.
