The WSCA03 Audubon BirdCam from Wingscapes is a motioned activated bird camera that gets you up and personal with the many different species that call your backyard home. Designed for ease of use, the Audubon BirdCam comes with everything you need to get started and requires no tools, software, or wiring. It sets up in just three minutes and its rugged all weather design allows it to be mounted outside for months on end. It attaches to a tree with the provided stretch cords or can also be mounted onto any standard tripod. Images and video are captured with a high resolution 5 Megapixel camera that features a multi-element glass lens and a 52 degree field of view, so you will capture pristine, high quality images. Sound is captured with an onboard microphone and the built in laser aiming system assures that the camera will be aimed exactly to where you specify.

The Audubon BirdCam's advanced infrared motion sensor triggers the camera to begin capturing images the instance a bird is sighted. Smart Sensor Technology recognizes the difference between a bird and a moving bird feeder that hangs in front of the lens so accidental image captures will not occur. The camera's adjustable focal length provides the ability to focus on birds from long distances and as close as 18 inches. Images are stored within the 32MBs of onboard memory or you can use an SD Card (sold separately) to extend storage space up to a maximum of 4GBs. Images can be easily viewed on a television or computer using the included TV-Out Cable or USB Cable. The onboard, easy to read information screen provides remaining battery life, images captured so far, current memory status, and much more. The Audubon BirdCam uses four D-Cell Batteries (sold separately) and usage lasts up to 12 weeks.
