Thanks to the WaterDog Pet Drinking Fountain you no longer have to. The WaterDog is the simple solution to ensuring your dog or other outdoor pet can get fresh drinking water whenever they want it. The device is powered by 4 C batteries (sold separately) which should last approximately 1 year and it installs to a hose spigot in a matter of minutes. Located above the WaterDog's drinking spigot is a sensor with a 3 foot detection range that will dispense water when it senses the presence of your pet and subsequently stop water flow when they leave. The height of the Pet Drinking Fountain can be adjusted to accommodate small, medium and large pets alike, and should be positioned to the height of your pet's chest. The WaterDog is weatherproof and should be inspected at least monthly to ensure the sensor is clean and that the batteries are still working. As the batteries begin to run out the Drinking Fountain will flash a red indicator light to alert you they need to be changed and a green indicator light lets you know they are ok. It is made of chew-resistant materials in case your furry friend gets a little to close to Drinking Fountain and it has a strong UV inhibitor to help ensure a long lifespan in hot environments.
