It`s a very amazing product! I love it!!

The Laser Stars puts on an amazing "show". I did have a failure of the device after about a week of 3 hour per day operation( it suddenly became very noisy), I contacted the manufacturer and they replaced it with a new unit without any difficulty. I hope it will be reliable because it is a spectacular unit in function...I'm just uncertain about reliability coupled with the short 45 day warranty. It would be helpful if you offered an extended warranty.

the laser stars are extremely easy to set up and use. just plug it in, point it at the ceiling or a blank wall (or the floor to amuse the kitties), and turn it on. however..... the first unit was sent back, due to the stars "skipping" and "jumping" and the clouds not moving. smarthome exchanged it (very easily - thank you very much for that!). the second unit seems to be working better. the only odd glitch is when the room is cold (below 55*F), the stars do not come on at full brightness. only the few fixed stars are lit. as the machine warms up, more stars begin appearing, and then BAM! they're all there. personally, i wouldn't purchase this item again. definitely not worth $180. but, my husband really enjoys the stars, so we're keeping it.

I sure wish they would use REAL star constellations, and add a remote/timer! Then this would be irresistible for almost anyone!!

First of all a compliment for the very client focused attitude of Smarthome.com. They helped me excellent when I called them regarding a question about shipping costs. I expected the Laser Stars projector to be 3 dimensional, but it is not. But it is still an amazing piece of gear!!! When I turn it on, combined with some good pieces of electronic music on my soundsystem, it really takes me to a higher level. All my friends who experienced these space projections, just started laughing because they could not believe what they saw! The funny thing is, it never gets boring!! It adds a real special effect to your room and it makes you part of the experience. That is the only way I can describe it. Despite the lack of more control availabilities besides the Nebula, it is really one of the weirdest things I have ever seen in my livingroom!! So if you read this review, I can only say, it is absolutely a good value for the money!! Check it out and make you own space trip over and over again! :-)

It´s the most amazing thing I´ve seen since LaserPod. It works perfectly, although the only thing I would change is the fan it has. I´ve placed Laser Stars in my son´s bedroom facing his ceiling, we use it as a "pacifier" when he won´t sleep and he loves it , notice he´s 1.7 years old. I hope the next version comes with a built-in timer, so you can fall asleep looking at the stars.

This thing is awesome! Best indoor laser show I've seen. The "stars" move constantly, though - so it is more of a laser show than a night sky effect - I wish there were more controls than just the brightness of the "nebula cloud" (like controlling if the stars move or how fast they move).
