The Guardian is two lights in one: The charger has an integral panel that's always lit, and the lantern is portable to illuminate wherever there's no electricity. The polycarbonate lantern features an abs charger, a non-replaceable bulb and ni-cd batteries; since the long-life bulbs and batteries are included, there's no need to replace them. The Guardian uses invisible recharging technology with no exposed metal contacts, and the lamp runs up to five hours per charge.
