Essential Info

If you are looking for a reliable source of light in an outdoor area where you have no outlet, the Sylvania LED Motion Sensor Light can do the job. This light is battery powered so no wiring or professional installation is necessary; and it can be mounted using the included adhesive, built-in magnet or with the included screws. Once the light has been mounted, it can be set to either manual or automatic operation. In manual operation you can physically turn the light on or off at any time. In automatic mode, the light uses a built-in photocell and motion sensor that will activate only in the dark and when movement has been detected within a 13 foot range; the motion sensor operates with a 130° radius. Once movement has no longer been detected, the light shut-off automatically after 10 seconds. This versatile light is the ideal solution for lighting up a stairway, bathroom, hallway, kitchen or garage, and because it has a waterproof housing it can even be used outside on the front porch, back patio or shed. The Sylvania LED Motion Sensor Light will conserve electricity and provide a lighted, safe environment at night. This product is powered by three AAA batteries, included.

    I love this product. Everyone needs this for safety and security. I attached them by the magnet to the gutters above my entrance and they come on as I approach the walkway and allow me to see the front door of my home. Theygo off after I have entered. This is a very cheap fix. I also have one on the handrail of my stairs which comes on as I approach the staircase. These are the best products I have ever used. This purchase was in addition to others I already had. Thanks!

    I keep buying more of these, for my own use and to give as gifts. They work great, look great, and the strong mounting magnet makes them easy to mount and take down. Where there is no steel to stick it on, I use the mounting tape to mount a small steel disk, like a washer, then use the magnetic mount so I can move or remove the light easily.

    I only installed it a few days ago, so I cannot speak to its longevity, but I am very pleased so far. It works just as described. It illuminates our front porch when the door is opened. Stays lit just long enough to get the key in the door. I am going to get another for our back door. Good product and a very inexpensive solution.

    I have a total of 7 of these lights. The batteries last a long time. I haven't replaced any yet and some of the lights have operated hundreds of times. I have one over my front door between the storm door and wood door. Even at 10 degrees F it lights up.
