The LED light can also be mounted to almost any surface using the built-in magnet or by using the included 3M Velcro adhesive. What really sets this product apart from similar efforts is the practicality. It has a built-in IR motion sensor; a wave of the hand will turn it on at high power, wave a second time for low power and a third time to turn it off. If you forget to turn it off, don't worry, it will automatically shut-off after it has been on for an hour. This means you can decide how much power you want to use and limit the amount of time the light is in use, extending the lifespan of your included AA batteries.
