It has a stable and stationary base with a flexible gooseneck, letting you position the lamp exactly where you need it, at a table, chair, or work bench. The five inch diameter lens has 2x magnification power with 12 glare-free LED lights illuminating the viewing area directly below the lens. The fully adjustable LED task lights can be turned on and off with the press of a convenient button on top of the magnifier. The LED lights are rated to last 100,000 hours and should never need changing or replacing. Additionally, they emit little or no heat when compared to incandescent lamps, so you will be comfortable when working for extended periods of time under and around the lens. The LIGHT IT!™ Magnifier Floor Lamp by Fulcrum is powered by an included power supply, or for energy savings you have the option of using three D batteries, sold separately.
