For a little added brightness to a room, install a Fixed Recessed Halogen Light Fixture. This easily installed fixture includes a quick connector cap to allow your electrical wire to pass through and daisy-chain to other fixtures without cutting or splicing wires. The Fixed Recessed Halogen Light Fixture can also be installed to add to the Recessed Halogen Fixed Lighting Kit system (sold separately), which also includes the transformer and cable required for installation.

Installing this light is easy. Cut a 4-inch hold in your desired fixture location. Pull down enough cable to allow for approximately 3 inches of slack. Place the cable over the piercing prongs, and press down and tighten the cap. Press the springs in as you raise the fixture into place, and with a snap, you're done!
The fixture's advanced materials prevent dangerous heat build-up, allowing its smaller, lightweight design. Suitable for ceilings up to 8 feet high, the Fixed Recessed Halogen Light Fixture is even UL listed for wet locations like showers or outdoor canopies. An energy-efficient 20W MR-16 halogen flood lamp is included; it provides twice the light intensity and twice the average lamp life of a 50-watt R-20 floodlight.
Be sure to use only listed, 10 AWG or 14 AWG stranded type NM cable rated 105° C minimum or equivalent.
