Flexible and attractive, the Recessed Halogen Fixed Lighting Kit can be used in hallways, bedrooms, basements, or even outside, to brighten eaves or patios. This set is expandable to five lights; additional Lamp Fixtures are sold separately.
Looking for a little more light? Two kits are often used for lighting kitchens. Alternatively, by replacing the included transformer with a 200-Watt Transformer (sold separately), you'll be able to increase the individual lamps' wattage.
While it's safe to install these fixtures in a wet location, the transformer must be installed in a dry area. When installing indoors, the transformer can be plugged into a switchable outlet in the ceiling or in your attic. A Wallplate Touch Dimmer (sold separately) can be installed if a switched outlet is not available.
A 15-foot cable is included, but if you need a longer reach, a 35-foot cable is available but sold separately. If you are unfamiliar with installing lighting, it is recommended that you contact a professional electrician.
