Enjoy professional quality sound without having to run unsightly speaker wire throughout your room. By combining lighting with audio, S.C. Enterprises has engineered the perfect solution to enjoy music in any room of your house that has a standard table or room lamp. Sound of Light uses Texas Instruments 2.4GHz Purepath Wireless Digital Signal Transmitter which allows you to connect an audio source, such as an MP3 player, tablet or Smartphone and play wirelessly through up to four Sound of Light speakers within a 200 foot range.
The speaker is built into the bottom of the unit and has a standard base that fits into almost any normal lamp. The integrated lamp speaker is also able to be controlled remotely throughout the room with the included remote control. The remote is able to mute and control the volume as well as turn the lamp light on or off and contains LED indicator lights. The 25 Watt speakers are amplified by Texas Instruments Purepath Class D technology and can also be paired with a third party subwoofer. The system runs on 120V or 240V, accepts standard light bulbs and is Energy Star EuP compliant.
To install, simply plug in the transmitter's power supply and choose the lamp in your room that you would like to transform into your new source of music. Remove the lamp shade and harp bracket and screw in the Sound of Light unit into the lamp. Once screwed in snugly, install a light bulb and replace the lamp shade onto the built-in seven inch harp. Sync the transmitter and speaker by pressing the synchronization buttons on each unit. Once synced, plug in an MP3 player or other audio source into the transmitter and press play. Each speaker comes with a channel selection switch which allows you to designate the speaker to left, mono or right.
To complete your Sound of Light system, be sure to get the
add on speaker and use an
LED bulb for maximum energy savings.
