Essential Info
Certain outlets need to provide more protection than others. Especially necessary in rooms with appliances or water sources, a GFCI receptacle can stop the flow of electricity if necessary. The 15-Amp GFCI Duplex Receptacle is part of Leviton's new Acenti line of dimmers, switches, receptacles and accessories that are both attractive and durable, all featuring a five-year warranty. Because of their innovative contoured geometry and uniform construction and matte finish, Acenti receptacles require Acenti wallplates for installation.

A GFCI receptacle is different from conventional receptacles. In the event of a ground fault, a GFCI will trip and quickly stop the flow of electricity to prevent serious injury. It can even protect other receptacles in the circuit, depending on placement. A GFCI receptacle does not protect against circuit overloads, short circuits, or shocks.
If you have two or more outlets together on your wall, you'll appreciate the flawless multigang wallplates. With no dividers or frames between devices, you're left only with the smooth, clean lines of your Acenti controls. Acenti's finely engineered Tox® joining method offers both surface alignment and behind-the-plate integrity, for a true and flawless installation every time.
