Turning on a ceiling fan used to be a two-step process: flick the switch and then walk to the fan to pull a chain for speed control. Why not control the fan right at the switch? The 1.5-Amp Fan Speed Control is part of Leviton's new Acenti line of dimmers, switches, receptacles and accessories that are both attractive and durable, all featuring a five-year warranty. Because of their innovative contoured geometry and uniform construction and matte finish, Acenti dimmers and switches require Acenti wallplates for installation.

In addition to the on/off control, the Acenti 1.5-Amp Fan Speed Control has a control bar that lets you set the fan speed, going directly from the off position to any speed setting: low, medium or high. To reduce risk of fire or electrical shock, use this control only with ceiling fans are rated 120VAC, with a maximum load of 1.5 amperes.
For three-way or more control over your fan, add an Acenti remote switch (sold separately). With Acenti controls, you're never in the dark: A soothing blue LED locator light illuminates automatically when the fan is off for easy location of the controls.
If you have two or more switches together on your wall, you'll appreciate the flawless multigang wallplates. With no dividers or frames between devices, you're left only with the smooth, clean lines of your Acenti controls. Acenti's finely engineered Tox® joining method offers both surface alignment and behind-the-plate integrity, for a true and flawless installation every time.
This Acenti switch will control a single fan. For matching controls, Acenti dimmers and switches are available for numerous types of lights, even fluorescent!
