If you thought it would never be possible to install a dimmer on a fluorescent light, prepare to be pleasantly surprised. The 1000-watt Acenti™ Dimmer for fluorescent lights is part of Leviton's new Acenti line of dimmers, switches, receptacles and accessories that are both attractive and durable, all featuring a five-year warranty. This dimmer will control a single light and works by itself or in a three-way or more application. Because of their innovative contoured geometry and uniform construction and matte finish, Acenti dimmers and switches require Acenti wallplates for installation.

A separate dim/bright bar is set into the dimmer for precise light-level setting, and the LED indicator light behind this bar shows the relative lighting level for an accurate measure of the light's intensity. The Acenti Dimmer remembers your desired setting, returning to the same light level when turned back on, even after a power failure, thanks to its internal memory.
With Acenti controls, you're never truly in the dark: A soothing blue LED locator light illuminates automatically when the lights are off for easy location of the controls. You'll also welcome the easy programming for minimum brightness level, preset on level, and on/off fade rate; programming requires neither tools nor removal of the wallplate.
If you have two or more switches together on your wall, you'll appreciate the flawless multigang wallplates. With no dividers or frames between devices, you're left only with the smooth, clean lines of your Acenti controls. Acenti's finely engineered Tox® joining method offers both surface alignment and behind-the-plate integrity, for a true and flawless installation every time.
This Acenti 1000-Watt Dimmer is rated 1000VA to control Mark 10™ Powerline or Tu-Wire™ ballasts up to the manufacturer's specified rating.
This Acenti dimmer will control a 1000-watt fluorescent light. A dimmer is also available for 8-amp fluorescent lights, and Acenti dimmers are available for incandescent and low-voltage magnetic lights, as well. The Acenti Dimmer 1000-watt Fluorescent is available in Natural, Driftwood, Onyx, Slate, Quartz, Sand, and Alabaster (shown). All colors other than Alabaster must be special ordered by calling 1-866-243-8020.
