Set up a Z-Wave automation network in your home, and you'll be able to control lighting and appliances remotely using RF technology. Either this Vizia RF Z-Wave Programmer / Controller or the Vizia RF Programmer / Timer is required for programming Leviton Vizia Z-Wave scenes and links, and it also functions as a handheld remote control that will turn on a light or every light from the comfort of your bed or sofa, even if the lights or appliances you're controlling are in another room or on another floor of your home.

    Compatible with all Z-Wave-enabled products, the Vizia RF Z-Wave Programmer / Controller makes programming scenes and links easy, thanks to a step-by-step tool that walks you through the process. Devices such as dimmers, switches, and plug-in modules link to your Z-Wave network in a one-step process; controllers link in easily, as well. The 1.75-inch backlit display clearly indicates areas and devices, which you can name for easy reference or use the pre-made templates to select names.

    Additional Features
    Use the Vizia RF Z-Wave Programmer / Controller to select a fade rate of one second through 127 minutes for any dimmable device or devices. Programmed settings can be locked with password-protected security. Additional features include a low-battery indicator.

    Awesome controller. Makes the Intermatic 5500 seem like primitive junk. I was pulling my hair out trying to get my system to do what I wanted using the 5500 series controller and eventually gave up. Realizing that I also ordered this controller, I figured what the heck and started over. In less than 30 minutes, I was up and running, defining scenes, adding and removing controllers, optimizing my routes, etc. Add to this that it has a bright and clear display compared to NO display for the 5500 and you have a TKO. This is the controller to get, no question about it.
