The Smart Surge protector is going to save you energy and money. Simply turn off the device plugged into the master socket, and power to the energy saver sockets is turned off as well. This surge protector features six protected AC outlets (up to 2160 Joules) which are switchable between energy-saving or a standard setting. It has one master outlet that controls the on/off status of three energy saving outlets. Two outlets are always on that provide continuous power for connected devices; these outlets feature LED indicator lights. There are also RJ11 and RJ45 protected jacks that defend against line surges and provide additional security against surges on telephone lines as well as cable, satellite, and cable modems with Ethernet connections. The resettable circuit breaker guards against overloads above 15 amps.
