By using a cord that is specifically long enough for your application, you can simplify your installation, eliminating the need to hide the extra length that results from using a standard cord that come with your electronic components. This is an 18 AWG short right angled extension SVT cable that is used on the back of home theater equipment, TV's and monitors. It is used to direct the power cord on these items, sideways. By directing it sideways you can keep the cords in-tact and strain free, because it won't be hanging straight down to the floor or draping all over your entertainment center. The cord is 1 foot long and can be plugged into extension cords or into wall outlets or power strips.
