Motorized Mount Extends, Tilts, & Swivels Use the included IR remote control or an RS232 interface to extend the X-Arm Remote Control Motorized Mount from your wall and tilt the screen up or down to your specifications. You can also swivel the screen left and right up to 56°. It even has two preset buttons on the infrared (IR) remote control that let you set up your favorite viewing positions for one-button access. Additional features include an LED display on the control box for TV size and status.
Installation The X-Arm Remote Control Fully Articulating Motorized Mount sets up just like a manual wall mount. You'll appreciate the hidden cable management system, which allows for a clean appearance, and the control box is even removable for easy maintenance. The bellows protects the mechanism from dust & dirt, and keeps inquisitive fingers away from the works.
Flexible Control Options The X-Arm Mount comes with its own universal remote, easily programmed to control your TV, DVD player, VCR, and cable box, by entering the code for each device. If you already have a learning remote, you can teach it the commands to control the mount. Or you can send commands to the mount using your home control software via the RS232 port.
Complete With Everything You Need No wasted trips to the hardware store to buy screws that were so conveniently left out. Fear not - this mount comes with all hardware needed to complete the project. Not only are the screws included that hold the mount to the wood studs in the wall, but you also get a wide variety of screws to fit the various brands of flat-screen TVs out there. Note: you will need additional materials to mount in masonry or metal stud walls. Finally, it needs to be mounted on a vertical wall surface - no ceilings.
Easy Installation Installing your motorized LCD / Plasma mount is made easier by intelligent design. Tape the included full-size template to the wall and center as needed. Locate the studs, drill one hole, and install the wall plate with one screw. Adjust as necessary to level the mount, then drill the remaining mounting holes & install the screws. Hang the mount on the wall plate, bolt the mounting brackets to the TV, hang it, then install the safety clips to finish the job. You'll need two people to lift the mount and the TV. If you'd rather have your robotic mount installed by a professional, click here to find a local certified dealer.
Adapts to Larger or Smaller Displays If your LCD or Plasma screen's mounting pattern is between 26" and 34.5" wide, or between 18.5" and 27.5" tall, you'll need an arm extension kit, sold separately. If the display mounting pattern is less than 21.5" wide, you'll need the cross plate kit, also sold separately.
