Essential Info
For automated control of fluorescent lights, appliances or high wattage incandescent lighting, simply replace your existing wall switches with this easy-to-install Leviton X10-compatible switch. Unlike standard dimmer switches, which use triacs for switching, this switch uses a mechanical relay to control the load, so it has a much higher load capacity.

The relay switching means the X10 receiver circuitry is somewhat isolated from the load and is relatively unaffected by the type of load being switched (provided it does not exceed rated capacity). Features include ALL LIGHTS ON and ALL UNITS OFF command response and a green LED light that indicates the switch is on.
NOTE: Because this switch responds to the ALL LIGHTS ON command, care should be taken when used to switch non-lamp loads. If you don't want your appliance to respond to this command, use an X10 Appliance Module or an X10 Wall Receptacle.
This wall switch is compatible with Decora® Home Control (DHC) Scene-Capable Receivers, the next generation of powerline home lighting control from Leviton. Designed to work with other Leviton powerline lighting control products, this new system allows you to customize up to 64 whole-house lighting scenes that reflect your favorite moods or activities. Furthermore, the extended-data commands that these switches use make them compatible with a number of home automation controllers, including the Stargate, TimeCommander and HomeVision. The scene feature is not accessible with regular X10 transmitters.
This switch includes a super sensitive receiver circuitry. In testing, we found this switch to be more sensitive than normal wall receiver modules. A new improvement for this model is a quieter relay. Earlier models have used a much louder relay that in some installations have disturbed the homeowners or users.
The Leviton Relay Switch is ready for three or four-way circuits. A 3-way circuit requires one Leviton Relay Switch and one 2365-series slave switch. A 4-way circuit would require a total of two 2 slave switches. Simply add additional slave switches for 5, 6 or more way circuits. For single pole applications, just cap off the yellow traveler wire. Please note that you must use the Leviton 2365-series switches below, existing 3 or 4 way mechanical switches will damage the dimmer.
Quality built in Leviton's own factory. Optional ivory conversion paddles included. Protected with a two-year warranty. Switches are UL-, CSA- and NOM-approved for use in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
This switch requires a neutral wire connection.
