These wall-mounted controllers — including a version with scene lighting macro capability — fit into standard wallboxes and replace regular switches to provide remote ON/OFF switching, dimming and scene lighting control. Best of all, they use the existing wiring that's already in your home (120V AC 60Hz) to add multi-location switching without a complicated and costly re-wiring process.

This Three-Address Wall Mounted Dimming Switch Controller with 2-Way Communication features three sets of ON/OFF buttons that transmit ON/OFF commands to three sequential addresses in the same letter code group as this controller. One set of GROUP BRIGHT/DIM buttons transmits GROUP BRIGHT/DIM commands to the most recently selected address.
These Leviton DHC Controllers transmit X10/PLC signals that can turn lights ON or OFF, DIM or BRIGHTEN lighting, select lighting macros, or turn ALL LIGHTS ON or OFF. Plus, two-way communication permits each unit to display a change of status (when a controlled 2-way device is controlled locally).
All units are UL Listed (File #E-66800), CSA Certified (File #LR-54628) and UL 244A Tested, and are backed by a limited two-year manufacturer warranty. Up to four DHC controllers can be wired into a single branch circuit. Available in white only.
Since these wall-mounted controllers are primarily transmitters of X10 signals, they do not have the ability to directly control a load. If you are replacing an existing switch (mechanical or X10) with a wall-mounted controller, you will need a X10 receiver to do the switching of the load formerly controlled by the switch. These Leviton DHC Controllers are not compatible with any Smarthome Design products They only work only with other Leviton DHC products.
