No problem: The Aube 7-Day, 40-500W Timer offers a manual override, which enables the load to be turned on and off without affecting the programming. A Decora-style wall plate is sold separately.

    More Info

    Mount the Aube 7-Day, 40-500W Timer into a standard single or multi-gang electrical box. The timer may be used for a single pole, an existing 3-way switch or a new 3-way switch installation. Program the date and time and then your seven on and off sequences, and the Aube 7-Day, 40-500W Timer will make sure your lights are on when you get home after dark.

    Programs are protected against a power failure by a pre-installed rechargeable battery. Additional features include an LCD that shows the time, day and load status.

    The Aube 7-Day, 40-500W Timer is also available in white. Turn your lights on when it gets dark out with the 500-watt Aube Solar Time Switch, which uses your city's coordinates to determine the sunset and sunrise each day, adjusting automatically as the year passes.

    Note: Aube’s TI032-3W5 programmable switch will work with CFLs if the combined wattage of all bulbs exceeds 40 W.

    Great product. Works well in a 3-way installation (many of this type do not), instructions are perfect. Matches ivory/almond plate very well as well. Works with compact fluorescents (many of this type do not)... No, frills, but perfect for "set it and forget it" applications.

    Installation of the product was pretty straight forward. The instructions were printed way to small for an old guy with short arm disease. The instructions for setting the timer was also a bit vague. Product works great once I figured out how to set the timer.

    Very easy installation... literally took minutes. Fairly easy to program... although some very small print on display. Had a scare when one day I noticed the display screen had gone blank... after reading trouble shooting instructions... it seems that when your light bulb burns out... the display goes blank... was very relieved to see that when I changed the bulb... everything returned to normal. Overall I'd have to say that I'm very satisfied with this Aube Timer... and would recommend it.

    This is the second identical Aube timer I've purchased. I use the timer to control our outside front lights. Unfortunately, after owning the first timer for several months, we bought new lights and in the process of installing them, thinking I had cut the power, I shorted some wires and killed the timer - blank display; although I could still manually turn the lights on and off. Thus the purchase of the second timer which is working well. The only drawback of the switch is the legibility of the display in low light. Having it backlit would make programing much easier.

    I bought this item to automatically switch my yard lights on and off. The old Intermatic unit worked fine until I replaced the incandescent lights with CFL's. Once the CFL's were installed, the old reliable Intermatic unit began to gain about a half-hour per day. The new Aube 7-Day timer works as advertised with the fluorescent lights.
