The Tamper-Resistant Decorator Outlet replaces a standard wall outlet and features a UL-tested shutter mechanism for protection against improper object insertion, better protection than traditional outlet caps or protection plates, which can be removed.
Along with long-term blade retention and tri-drive screws, the Tamper-Resistant Decorator Outlet features extra-large circuit break-off tabs.
The Tamper-Resistant Decorator Outlet is also available in white. The Tamper-Resistant Outlet also comes with a nightlight, available in white or ivory instead. These units are all sold separately.
